1. Meluruskan kembali niat kita nge-blog. Sebenarnya tujuan kita membuat blog untuk apa ? Jika ditujukan sebagai catatan pribadi, atau sebagai media untuk berbagi, atau misalnya untuk berlatih menulis ? Maka mengepa harus terpengaruh dengan sedikit banyaknya komentar, bukankah hal seperti itu bukan tujuan utama kita nge-blog ? Tentu hal ini berbeda dengan blogger profesional yang mencari rating blog tinggi, karena tujuan nge-blog mereka memang untuk bisnis dan mencari pengiklan.

2. Berusaha membenahi blog yang kita miliki sekarang juga. Mulai mengelola kembali tulisan-tulisan yang kita buat, memperbaiki tulisan yang salah ketik, memperbaiki kualitas tulisan di blog yang kita miliki, kolom komentarnya lebih dipermudah, begitupun tampilan dan widgetnya diatur agar tidak menyebabkan blog lambat diakses. Dengan demikian blog yang kita miliki lebih baik dari sebelumnya.

3. Memanjakan komentator. Bagaimana caranya ?, misalnya dengan menjadikan blog yang kita miliki “do follow” sehingga blog yang kita miliki bisa memberi backlink kepada komentator. Bisa juga dengan memberi plugin “top komentator”, atau plugin “commenluv” agar postingan terbaru dari komentator tampil di bawah komentar yang ia sampaikan. 4. Sering-sering membuat tulisan yang menjebak dan mengundang opini pembaca (tentunya tulisan dan opini yang bisa dipertanggung-jawabkan). Hal seperti bisa dilakukan dengan menyisipkan kata “menurut anda bagaimana ?” atau “silahkan komentar !” di postingan yang kita miliki. Misalnya saja “…..menurut saya Wapres dan Menkeu tidak perlu dinonaktifkan ketika dilakukan pemeriksaan kasus Bank Century karena hal itu bisa menghambat kinerja pemerintah. Mungkin demikian sedikit “tips” (jika boleh disebut demikian) dikala blog yang kita miliki masih sepi dari komentar. A. Dari sisi pembaca :

1. Pembaca belum memiliki minat untuk berkomentar, sehingga tulisan hanya dibaca sekilas kemudian ditinggalkan.

2. Pembaca tidak tahu harus berkomentar apa.

Yah, adakalanya pembaca ingin sekali berkomentar dan menyampaikan terima kasih, namun bingung dan tahu harus menyampaikan apa, akhirnya pupuslah keinginan untuk menitip komentar di blog. Pembaca yang seperti ini banyak, jadi yakin saja bahwa ada yang telah membaca tulisan yang telah kita buat.

3. Pembaca menunda komentar.

Mungkin ketika pembaca melihat postingan yang kita miliki, ia belum memiliki waktu untuk berkomentar saat itu sehingga menunda memberikan komentar. Jadi harap sabar, dan tunggu pembaca datang lain kali untuk memberikan komentar.

4. Pembaca enggan berkomentar.

Mungkin karena menganggap tulisan yang kita buat tidak perlu dikomentari ataukan ia berpikir jangan sampai komentar yang ia sampaikan tidak berguna dan hanya menimbulkan perdebatan dikemudian hari.

1. Blog dan tulisan yang kita miliki masih kurang menarik.

Mungkin bagi kita, tulisan yang kita buat sudah sangat menarik, namun bagi orang lain tidak. Untuk itu, kemampuan menulis dan mengolah kata, harus terus kita latih.

2. Postingan yang kita tulis adalah hasil Copy Paste.

Walaupun menarik dan sangat bermanfaat bagi orang lain, namun jika tulisan yang kita buat adalah hasil copy paste, biasanya akan menyebabkan pembaca enggan untuk berkomentar.

3. Blog terlalu berat diakses, akhirnya pembaca hanya datang sekilas dan bergegas untuk pergi
